Dan practices in the areas of Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Litigation, Insurance and Civil Disputes, Criminal Defence, Wills and Estates.  He is a member of the Middlesex Law Association.

Prior to joining the firm in 1988, Dan articled with Lerners LLP in London, Ontario.  He then practiced for two years with the law firm Nicholson, Seabrook, Epstein and Ste. Marie.  Dan has experience in all forms of Civil Litigation including motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, contract disputes, debt collection and recently, a complex environmental case.  Dan has prosecuted Criminal cases but now focuses exclusively on defending criminal allegations including, but not limited to, such offences as drinking and driving, drug possession and trafficking, firearm offences, assaults and sexual assaults, fraud, Highway Traffic Act offences, and other provincial offences.

In the 1990s, Dan was President of the local branch of the Young Lawyers Division of the Canadian Bar Association.  As a member of that Association, he was responsible for public legal education and for a number of years hosted a popular Rogers television program titled Legal Eagles.  His guests included a number of Judges, former and current Attorneys General and lawyers who had distinguished themselves during their careers.  Dan has also made numerous media appearances on both television and radio and ran for parliament in February 2006.

Dan continues to volunteer with Courthouse Rocks, an annual fundraiser for the London Lawyers’ Feed the Hungry program and was instrumental in putting together two CDs of music to sell for charity entitled Justice and Music For All and More Justice and Music For All.  The initial CD lead to the creation of Courthouse Rocks.  Collectively, these efforts have helped to raise over $200,000 for the less fortunate in our community.

When Dan is not in his office or in court, he can often be found playing hockey, playing the guitar, rollerblading or spending time with his family.
